Delete your account
Last updated: 18 October 2026
This page is how you ask NICKD to delete an app account created with email or Google. The app does not delete the account on its own. From the app, open your profile and tap Delete account to reach this page.
Deleting an account is a request we action by email. It is not erased the moment you tap the link. We complete a confirmed request within 30 days.
How to ask
- Email admin@nickd.com.au from the email address on the account.
- Use the subject line Account Deletion Request.
- Include the email address on the NICKD account. If you signed in with Google, use that Google email. You do not need to send your password.
What we delete
- The Firebase login for that account.
- The profile: name, email, push token, nearby-alert settings, saved area, and scores.
- Your row on the leaderboard.
- Proof-of-ownership photos you uploaded for a vehicle claim.
- Your account id on sightings you created, so those rows are no longer tied to you.
What we may keep
- The vehicle facts in a sighting: plate, time, location, speed, and the photo of the vehicle. Those are a record of the vehicle. They are kept without your account id.
- A short note that we received and actioned a deletion request.
- A website report, if you filed one, until you ask us to remove the contact details on that report as well. Say so in the same email if you want that.
We aim to finish a confirmed request within 30 days. We may write back if we cannot tell which account is yours.
More detail is in the Privacy Policy.
